Here are her thoughts on how women can create a successful career for themselves, as shared with team ABT.

Who has been your greatest inspiration & why?

My true inspiration is my mother and my husband! My mother always inspired me to be grounded and stay true to our roots. And my husband’s passion for his work and perceptiveness inspires me to get better. He is a trend setter and that’s very inspiring. It gives me the vision to go beyond the set boundaries.

What is that one milestone in your life that makes you happy?

I have achieved many milestones in life, but if I have to specifically put a finger on one major milestone it is definitely motherhood! I am enjoying motherhood every minute of my life. Raising my angels and seeing their growth journey makes me feel contented I feel achieved that I’ve brought up two well cultured beautiful girls. Their very being is a milestone that I’ve achieved and will enjoy till I die.

What are your thoughts on Challenges faced by women at workplace?

There is a huge hue and cry about women facing challenges at work; but honestly I feel multi-tasking is a woman’s second nature, it comes naturally to her. There were times when I felt it was challenging to handle work and home but then I sailed through those. In fact those very challenges chiseled me to a person I am today. I personally feel that any lady of strength & sensitivity can balance her life with peace if she has experienced good & bad events in her life hence challenges in life are necessary in order to grow as individuals.

If you were to re-live or change any one moment of your life, what would that be?

I have always believed that everything happens for a reason, all the good and the bad that happened to me has made me who I am and brought me where I am. All the events, all the milestones, all the mistakes, everything taught me something and it has shaped me into the person I am. So, I do not want to undo any event as everything happens for the best and I am satisfied with my life and I have no repent as bad & good things teaches us lessons and experience; nothing goes waste in life.

What advice would you give to a younger self?

When we are younger, we have tons of insecurities. We worry a lot. The prospect of the future scares us as much as it excites us. I think I would want to let my younger self know that no matter what, if you have faith and are positive, things will work out. I’d want my younger self to understand that everything happens for a reason, it might not make sense at that time, but in the long run, the big picture will make it all worth it.

What would you like to achieve in the next 5 years?

In the coming years, I see myself grow more with our company. We have set specific targets and hopefully we will achieve all of them. But foremost for me – is to be a more better human being day by day, understanding and dealing with people connected to my daily life and complexities, if you feel good and spread positive vibes amongst people it will lead to more happier lives and more productivity and that is my aim & motto of my life to be always happy!
