SINGAPORE, July 3, 2026 – SAP Asia Pacific has appointed Verena Siow as President for the APAC region, effective immediately, as the enterprise technology company looks to accelerate customer success, cloud adoption and AI-led business transformation across the region.
Based in Singapore, Siow will lead SAP’s Asia Pacific operations across a region that includes Australia and New Zealand, Greater China, India, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia. SAP employs more than 50,000 people across 46 offices and SAP Labs locations in Asia Pacific.
Siow brings almost three decades of technology sector experience to the role. She has spent 15 years at SAP in multiple leadership positions, most recently as Business Suite Leader for APAC, where she was responsible for driving cloud growth and the end-to-end customer value journey. Prior to that, she served as SAP’s Southeast Asia President and Managing Director.
Manos Raptopoulos, Chief Revenue Officer for APAC, EMEA and MEE, said Siow’s appointment comes at a time when SAP’s regional business is being shaped by accelerated AI innovation.
“Our business is fuelled by accelerated AI innovation, underpinned by our purpose, our people, and our partnerships. Verena brings deep regional expertise, focus on customer success, and exceptional leadership to this important growth market,” Raptopoulos said.
Siow said her appointment comes at a pivotal moment for SAP Asia Pacific as organisations across the region seek to reinvent themselves for the AI era.
“It’s a pivotal time to take the reins at SAP Asia Pacific. Our vision for the Autonomous Enterprise connecting data, processes, and people seamlessly, is delivering real outcomes for customers as they reinvent their businesses for the AI era,” she said.
SAP works with tens of thousands of customers across Asia Pacific, including NEC Corporation, Coles Group, Wipro, Alibaba Group, Fujitsu Limited, Hyundai Motor Corporation, Fonterra, Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, and Asian Paints.
The appointment underscores SAP’s continued focus on the Asia Pacific market, where enterprise customers are increasingly investing in cloud transformation, business AI, digital supply chains, finance modernisation, HR transformation and integrated business applications.
SAP describes itself as a global leader in enterprise applications and business AI, with organisations using its solutions across finance, procurement, human resources, supply chain and customer experience.
With Siow taking charge of the APAC region, SAP is expected to sharpen its focus on helping customers integrate data, processes and people as businesses seek more autonomous, AI-enabled operating models.
