Singaporean Bee Kheng Tay to head Cisco ASEAN

SINGAPORE, November 20, 2021 – Networking giant Cisco has appointed Singapore-based Bee Kheng Tay as their new President for its ASEAN business. She took over the reins of the regional team from Naveen Menon who has been promoted to the global team at Cisco’s Strategic Execution Office.  

Before taking over this new role, Bee Kheng was Managing Director of Renewals, Asia Pacific, Japan and China for the company. She has been driving Cisco’s profitable double-digit growth and leading its go-to-market operations across 10 countries in the region. Under her leadership, the subscription revenue from software and services was 53% of Cisco’s overall global business in FY21, making Cisco one of the largest software companies globally.

After the announcement, Bee Kheng said, “ASEAN’s digital economy holds great potential in today’s digital, cloud-first world. Bee Kheng has worked in the enterprise technology sector for more than two decades. She has led the Singapore and Brunei businesses for Cisco for three years. She spearheaded several key initiatives, including the establishment of the Cisco Singapore Co-Innovation Center and the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, supported by a partnership with Singapore’s Economic Development Board. She has also held several leadership roles in global hardware giant Hewlett Packard.
