NOIDA, India, October 1, 2024 – Best Power Equipments (BPE) has announced the appointment of Girish Chandra as Director-Global of Data Center (DC) Infrastructure Solutions and Enterprise. With more than 25 years of experience across India and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, Chandra is set to drive BPE’s international expansion and growth in the data center and power solutions sector.
Chandra’s career spans senior roles at leading organizations, including CBRE South Asia, Kyndryl Solutions (a spin-off of IBM), IBM India, Wipro in Singapore, APC by Schneider Electric, Emerson Network Power, and DB Power Electronics. His expertise in data center solutions, power management, and large-scale project management has earned him recognition as a leader in the field. His strategic focus on business development and managing complex infrastructure projects has driven revenue growth and solidified market positions for the companies he’s worked with.
In his new role, Chandra will be responsible for expanding BPE’s data center infrastructure and enterprise solutions portfolio, with a focus on global markets such as APAC, ASEAN, and Africa. He will lead BPE’s efforts to strengthen its presence in emerging markets, particularly Southeast Asia and the Middle East. His leadership will be pivotal in executing BPE’s long-term growth strategy and delivering innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients worldwide.

Chandra holds several professional certifications, including Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) from the Uptime Institute USA, Certified Data Center Specialist (CDCS), Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) from EPI Singapore, and PRINCE2 Project Management Certification. His specialization covers various sectors, including government, healthcare, financial services, and hyperscale data centers.
With this appointment, BPE aims to further its leadership in end-to-end power solutions for data center infrastructure.
