Richard Lobo to be New CHRO at Tech Mahindra

New Delhi, India (December 12, 2023) – Indian information technology giant Tech Mahindra is set to enroll Richard Lobo as their new Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) next year. Lobo will join the organisation with effect from January 2024.

The former EVP and head of HR at Infosys where he spent more than 20 years, Lobo is currently working freelance as a strategic HR advisor. He will assume his new role under Mohit Joshi, who was recently appointed CEO of Tech Mahindra. After leaving Infosys, he began to advice companies and startups on HR, with a focus on a range of areas including change management, corporate governance, oranisational scaling and employee experience. He was then hired by BYJUs as an exclusive strategic HR advisor.

Tech Mahindra promoted Harshavendra Soin from the position of global chief people office, head of marketing, corporate services and people supply chain (RMG) to that of president of the Asia Pacific and Japan. This this expanded role, he will be based in Australia, from where he will oversee both the enterprise and telecom sectors on top of his current responsibilities.

In November 2023, network services CEO, and president of communications, media and entertainment business Manish Vyas, resigned from this role after a 23-year tenure with the company. Tech Mahindra has appointed Peeyush Dubey as the new chief marketing and communications officer with immediate effect.
