SINGAPORE (October 10, 2023) – Worldwide strategy, design and construction group Unispace has announced today the appointment of Tim Larson to the position of managing director (MD) and chief creative officer (CCO) of the Unispace Group, heading the Asian arm of its business.
Larson is currently the company’s design principal at its experiential design agency Downstream. He has been instrumental in building and establishing the Downstream business, which is headquartered in Portland, USA, over the last 27 years, where he has delivered work for clients including Microsoft, KPMG, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Over the years, he has pioneered new approaches in creating spaces of innovation, technology labs, visitor centres, sports and entertainment venues, and retail stores.
Larson will focus on accelerating Unispace’s and Downstream’s growth in the region in his new role. Unispace has offices across Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangalore, India. The continent makes up a significant growth market for the Unispace Group and the regional team has delivered workplace projects for clients such as TripAdvisor, NielsenIQ and Vayner Media.
Downstream was acquired by the Unispace Group in 2021, whence the firm has delivered cutting-edge spaces that integrate interactive digital and physical experiences in global tech hubs, flagship retail stores, key sports venues, education spaces and other public and private properties around the world.
