KUALA LUMPUR, August 5, 2024 – DIFY’s Malaysia Blockchain Night 2024 concluded successfully, marking a highlight in the Web3 Crypto Week with an array of groundbreaking showcases and discussions. Held on July 31st at the upscale W Hotel, the event attracted over 600 attendees out of more than 1,000 registrants, featuring innovations in GameFi, SocialFi, and Real-World Assets (RWA).
Jointly hosted by DTC Group, DIFY, EMERGE Group, Halogen, and Pudgy Penguins Malaysia, the Malaysia Blockchain Night was an official side event of the Malaysia Blockchain Week 2024. The evening received support from government entities like the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Asosiasi Blockchain Indonesia (A-B-I), underscoring the regional commitment to advancing Web3 technologies.
A representative from MDEC opened the event with a welcoming speech, expressing support for Web3 innovations in Malaysia and beyond. The audience, comprising venture capitalists, Web3 business owners, enthusiasts, Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), and media representatives, gained valuable insights from leading experts on the current and future state of Web3 technologies.
DIFY hosted three significant events in the run-up to the Malaysia Blockchain Night, each contributing to the buildup of excitement and engagement within the Web3 community:
- Saigon Meetup 2024 ( June 7, 2024): Held in Saigon, Vietnam, this meetup brought together notable Web3 projects for an evening of networking and discussions. Co-hosted by Avocado DAO, GameFi.org, MemeCore, EMERGE Group, and DIFY, the event featured collaborative opportunities and showcases of the latest innovations in the Web3 space.
- Dubai Blockchain Week (April 18, 2024): In collaboration with DTC Group and EMERGE Group, DIFY presented the Dubai Blockchain Night at the Palace Downtown Dubai. The event attracted nearly 3,000 participants from across the globe, including distinguished leaders from SEA to MENA, to discuss the future of decentralized technologies.
- The Inaugural Web3 Fiesta in Singapore (September 13, 2023): DIFY’s inaugural Web3 Fiesta in Singapore gathered over 500 industry leaders, blockchain enthusiasts, investors, and VC firms. The event highlighted notable GameFi projects and Web3 companies, with support from sponsors like Immutable Games, Tezos, and Alibaba.
Building on the success of Web3 Crypto Week, DIFY’s Web3 Fiesta announced a series of upcoming events in conjunction with major Web3 conferences across the APAC region. These events aim to continue showcasing cutting-edge projects and providing high-level networking opportunities, reinforcing the vibrant and rapidly evolving Web3 ecosystem.
