Temus Eyes Growth Via Buyouts, Aims Expansion into HK

SINGAPORE (November 03, 2023) – Digital transformation services company, Temus, announced its acquisition of Decision Science Agency (DS), a fully home-grown digital services provider focused on agile application development with based in Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia. As part of the acquisition, DS founder Collin Ang joins Temus in the capacity of its managing director.

In a high-profile event that was graced by Senior Minister of State of the Ministry of Communication and Information and Ministry of National Development Tan Kiat How which was held today in Singapore, Temus announced their “Step IT Up” career conversion programme along with news of the acquisition of DS, underscoring its commitment to promoting talent development and capability building along with the growth of Singapore’s digital economy.

Temus also crosses the ocean with its first international expansion with the launch of its new office in Hong Kong.

Last year, Temus acquired Dreamcloud, a pioneer in the low-code space.

Temus has been successful in its growth since its inception in 2021, along with its acquisitions of Dreamcloud, and international expansion in Hong Kong. Over the course of its three successful Step IT Up cycles, the company has created more than 400 digital talent, most of whom reside in Singapore. In fact, Temus’ Step IT Up career conversion scheme has seen 38 individuals with no prior tech training or backgrounds secure full-time roles in software and digital application development upon graduating from the three-month programme. The company aims to hire, place and train 20 digital business analysts (Digital BAs) in this third run of Step IT Up.
