NetApp Appoints Angeline Lim to Lead ASEAN Growth Strategy

SINGAPORE, July 3, 2025 — NetApp has announced the appointment of Angeline Lim as its new Senior Director for ASEAN, marking a strategic move to deepen the company’s engagement with businesses across the region and accelerate its data-driven growth agenda.

Lim’s appointment comes as enterprises across Southeast Asia ramp up their digital transformation efforts, with data infrastructure playing a central role in enabling AI adoption, cloud agility, and operational resilience. Based in Singapore, she will oversee NetApp’s operations in key ASEAN markets, driving customer and partner engagement and strengthening the company’s position in data management and cloud solutions.

Driving Intelligent Data Infrastructure in a Digital Economy

Described by NetApp as a leader well-versed in “executing cloud transformation across regulated industries,” Lim brings more than 20 years of experience in enterprise technology sales and regional business development. She most recently served as Senior Director for Oracle Cloud Mid-Market ASEAN & SAGE, leading strategy across 12 markets in one of Oracle’s fastest-growing business units.

“I’m thrilled to be joining NetApp at a pivotal moment, as organisations across ASEAN recognise the need for intelligent data infrastructure to power AI-driven transformation,” said Lim in a statement. “NetApp’s strength in unifying data across hybrid and multicloud environments is critical to how businesses are reshaping their IT strategies.”

She added that she looks forward to working closely with customers and partners to unlock competitive advantage through data and deliver long-term, sustainable growth.

Building Momentum in a Cloud-First Region

NetApp, a Nasdaq-listed firm known for its Intelligent Data Infrastructure solutions, has been expanding its footprint across Asia Pacific in response to surging demand for hybrid cloud, AI-ready platforms, and data-driven innovation. ASEAN remains a key growth region, as enterprises seek scalable data architectures to support analytics, cybersecurity, and AI model deployment.

“Angeline’s experience driving business outcomes, building high-performance teams, and her deep understanding of ASEAN’s enterprise landscape make her the ideal leader to accelerate our momentum,” said Henry Kho, Area Vice President and General Manager for Greater China, ASEAN, and South Korea at NetApp. “With Angeline at the helm, we’re doubling down on our mission to turn data infrastructure into a driver of innovation, resilience, and growth for our customers.”
