SINGAPORE, May 2, 2025 – Against a backdrop of shifting global economic currents and growing demand for cross-border collaboration, RX Greater China has unveiled its 2025 campaign theme: “Hello China Hello World – Connect Markets, Expand Horizons.”
The campaign underscores RX’s renewed mission to act as a global bridge—connecting economies, industries, and people while catalysing innovation, investment, and sustainable development. As geopolitical tensions and supply chain realignments continue to redefine international trade, RX’s initiative comes at a timely moment for industry leaders, exhibitors and policymakers seeking resilient, forward-looking partnerships.
A Platform for Global Collaboration in Uncertain Times
“Hello China Hello World 2025” is not just a slogan, but a strategic direction that reflects RX’s deep belief in the power of exhibitions to foster meaningful dialogue, unlock business potential, and chart a course through complex economic terrain. Through its vast network of trade shows, forums and business matching platforms, RX is committed to uniting global stakeholders in pursuit of shared prosperity.
“In today’s rapidly evolving world, exhibitions must go beyond product showcases. They are now vital platforms for co-creation, policy dialogue and strategic alignment,” said an RX spokesperson. “This campaign is about opening new channels—between China and the world, and across borders, sectors and cultures.”
Dual Focus: Supporting Chinese Exporters and Welcoming Global Brands
Central to RX’s strategy is a dual objective: empowering Chinese enterprises to grow internationally, and creating pathways for global companies to engage with China’s massive market and dynamic industries.
RX’s exhibitions, such as the 91st China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) in Shanghai, exemplify this dual approach. Held in April 2025, the event featured nearly 5,000 exhibitors from over 30 countries, showcasing tens of thousands of medical innovations. Visitors from more than 150 countries participated in bilateral meetings, international summits, and live sessions on the WeTalk platform—demonstrating RX’s capacity to foster knowledge exchange and sectoral growth at scale.
Similarly, WEPACK 2025, which concluded in Shanghai earlier this month, drew over 138,000 visits—including nearly 19,000 from overseas. The event’s Outbound Branding Forum offered Chinese packaging companies a platform to refine international strategies and explore global investment avenues.
Expanding Regional Footprint in Southeast Asia
With Southeast Asia fast emerging as a high-growth region driven by digital adoption, industrial upgrading and demographic momentum, RX is also ramping up its presence in the region.
In June, Kuala Lumpur will host the Health Industry Series – ASEAN 2025, supported by Malaysia’s Ministry of Health and Medical Device Authority. The exhibition will spotlight China’s capabilities in medtech, pharmaceuticals, and eldercare, helping Chinese brands establish strong local networks across Belt and Road countries.
This will be followed by WEPACK Southeast Asia and the RX Huabo Asia Gift Fair – Indonesia, taking place in July and September respectively. These events aim to facilitate cross-border trade while supporting Chinese brands looking to establish long-term operations in the ASEAN region.
Earlier this year, RX also led a business and technology delegation to Vietnam’s non-ferrous metals industry, further enhancing supply chain integration and deepening China-Vietnam industrial cooperation.
Technology at the Heart of Future Exhibitions
As industries around the world embrace automation, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, RX is embracing emerging technologies to enhance the exhibition experience for exhibitors and attendees alike.
AI-powered tools are now being integrated to improve real-time communication, automate operations and deliver more personalised experiences. The 91st CMEF included a dedicated Medical Robotics Pavilion, showcasing the world’s first AI-powered orthopaedic surgical robot—a clear sign of how exhibitions are becoming incubators for cutting-edge technologies.
In another highlight, NEPCON China 2025—currently underway at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center—is spotlighting three major forces shaping the future: artificial intelligence, humanoid robotics, and the low-altitude economy. The event’s “Humanoid Robot Core Component Deconstruction Zone” provides a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of next-gen robots.
“Hello China Hello World 2025”: A Call to Action
This year’s campaign is more than a theme; it’s a global invitation. RX is launching a wide array of initiatives under the banner, including National Pavilions, Country of Honour programmes, international matchmaking events, policy briefings, and leadership forums.
As RX Global CEO Hugh Jones stated during an address at the company’s Shanghai office on April 7, “Exhibitions are the foundation upon which industries build the future. They offer the space for innovation, the energy for growth, and the structure for global collaboration. Our job is to turn that potential into reality.”
With Hello China Hello World 2025, RX aims to reimagine what exhibitions can be—platforms not only for commerce, but for connection, inspiration and impact. In doing so, it’s helping industries—and the world—move forward together.
