BEYOND Expo 2026 to Spotlight ‘AI: Digital to Physical’ as Asia’s Innovation Ecosystem Expands

SINGAPORE, May 6, 2026 – BEYOND Expo has unveiled “AI: Digital to Physical” as the official theme for its 2026 edition being hosted in Macao from May 27-29, positioning the event as a key platform for showcasing the full spectrum of artificial intelligence innovation across Asia’s rapidly evolving technology landscape.

The theme reflects a broader shift in AI development, as technologies move beyond software-driven applications to become deeply embedded in physical systems, products, and real-world use cases across industries.

Organisers said BEYOND Expo 2026 will bring together emerging and established players across a wide range of AI-driven sectors, including humanoid robotics and embodied AI, enterprise agentic workflows, vertical-specific AI SaaS, AI-integrated wearables and smart glasses, autonomous driving and intelligent mobility, sports technology, as well as PayFi and decentralised AI (DeAI).

From Software to Real-World Systems

As artificial intelligence continues to reshape industries and business models, the 2026 theme aims to capture the transition of AI from purely digital capabilities to integrated physical applications.

“‘AI: Digital to Physical’ defines the full scope of artificial intelligence today,” said Jason Ho, Co-founder of BEYOND Expo. “BEYOND Expo brings the entire AI landscape into one place, from underlying AI capabilities to deployed systems shaping products and industries, with Asia as a central arena for both innovation and commercialisation.”

The event is expected to offer participants a comprehensive and hands-on view of how AI is being deployed across sectors, enabling businesses, investors, and policymakers to engage directly with technologies shaping the next phase of global innovation.

Asia’s Growing Role in AI Innovation

Since its launch in 2021, BEYOND Expo has positioned itself as one of Asia’s leading platforms for technology and innovation, bringing together founders, startups, global enterprises, investors, and policymakers from across the region and beyond.

The 2026 edition is expected to attract more than 30,000 attendees and will feature an expanded programme spanning multiple thematic tracks, including the AI Summit, Global Investment Summit, Wealth Summit, BGlobal Summit, SheTech Summit, Founder Talks, SportsTech Forum, Gen Z Forum, and Web3 + AI Forum.

Additional formats such as Media Day, Fund at First Pitch, BEYOND Awards, and regional cooperation forums are designed to facilitate cross-border collaboration and investment opportunities.

“Asia is entering a more mature phase of AI innovation,” said Dr. Lu Gang, Co-founder of BEYOND Expo. “The region is now producing companies with real depth and global relevance. BEYOND Expo provides a platform where these companies engage the world, and where international partners gain a clear perspective on the scale and direction of innovation across Asia.”

Bridging Innovation and Commercialisation

A key focus of BEYOND Expo 2026 will be to connect innovation with real-world deployment and commercialisation opportunities.

Exhibitors will have direct access to investors, partners, and decision-makers shaping the next phase of the AI market, while showcasing products and solutions to a global audience.

To further reinforce the theme, organisers will introduce the Greater Bay Area (GBA) Innovation Tour, offering participants behind-the-scenes access to one of Asia’s most dynamic innovation and manufacturing ecosystems.

The initiative is designed to provide global stakeholders with firsthand insights into how AI concepts are translated into scalable products and businesses, highlighting the region’s role in bridging research, development, and industrial production.

A Platform for Cross-Border Collaboration

With its integrated ecosystem approach, BEYOND Expo continues to position itself as a hub for cross-border engagement, connecting innovation, capital, and policy.

As AI development accelerates globally, the 2026 edition is expected to serve as a convergence point

With “AI: Digital to Physical” as its central theme, BEYOND Expo 2026 underscores a defining shift in the evolution of artificial intelligence, from theoretical capability to real-world application.

By bringing together the full value chain of innovation, from foundational technologies to deployed systems, the event is set to highlight Asia’s expanding role in shaping the future of AI at scale.
