MACAU, May 27, 2026 – Asia’s technology and innovation ecosystem will converge in Macau this week as the sixth edition of BEYOND Expo 2026 officially opens with a strong focus on the practical application of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies across industries.
Held under the theme “AI: Digital to Physical,” the four-day event taking place from May 27 to 30 at The Venetian® Macao’s Cotai Expo is expected to bring together nearly 800 exhibitors, 400 speakers and more than 400 media representatives from over 100 countries and regions.
Organisers said this year’s edition will place particular emphasis on how AI is evolving beyond software-based applications into tangible real-world deployment across sectors ranging from robotics and healthcare to mobility, smart infrastructure and consumer technologies.
The event is expected to feature more than 220 sessions spanning entrepreneurship, venture capital, AI, sustainability, regional technology cooperation and future consumer technologies.
AI, Robotics and Emerging Technologies Take Centre Stage
According to organisers, BEYOND Expo 2026 will showcase more than 1,000 high-tech products covering both consumer and enterprise applications.
These include humanoid robots, AI-enabled smart eyewear, robotic pets, future mobility technologies, biodegradable materials, healthcare devices, energy-saving industrial robots and AI-powered enterprise software.
The exhibition is also expected to reflect Asia’s growing role in frontier technologies, particularly in areas such as embodied AI, robotics and AI-integrated hardware systems.
Lu Gang, Co-Founder of BEYOND Expo, said the event aims to demonstrate how AI is increasingly moving into physical-world applications.
“Building on our mission of ‘Empowering Asia, Bridging the World,’ and the growing success of BEYOND Expo since it started, this year we are excited to realize the theme of ‘AI: Digital to Physical’ which will showcase Asia’s rapid rise in frontier technologies,” Lu said.
“AI is no longer an isolated discussion; this Expo will present many tangible products and solutions that can transform our lives.”
The programme will also feature specialised forums and summits around areas such as AI Glasses, Digital AI, the BEYOND Wealth Summit, Green Building Conference Global Investment, SheTech Summit, GenZ Forum and the China Venture Capital Forum.
Regional collaboration forums covering Asia-Europe, Asia-Latin America, Japan, Korea and China-Switzerland technology cooperation are also scheduled as part of the broader agenda.
BEYOND Expo Strengthens Asia’s Global Tech Positioning
Beyond product showcases, organisers are positioning the expo as a platform for investment, startup acceleration and international collaboration.
Initiatives such as the BEYOND Expo BGlobal Network and Fund at First Pitch competition are designed to connect entrepreneurs, startups and investors while supporting regional innovation ecosystems.
The Fund at First Pitch competition remains one of the event’s key attractions, giving startups opportunities to pitch directly to investors and secure funding support.
Jason Ho, Co-Founder of BEYOND Expo, said the event continues to focus on supporting the international expansion of Asian technology companies.
“With innovation in technology changing everything in our lives we are proud to bring together a tech ecosystem to drive momentum and nurture next-generation technologies,” Ho said.
“Our exciting lineup of speakers will create an exciting few days at BEYOND Expo as we continue to support the global expansion of Asian tech companies and resource sharing to address global challenges.”
The event will also include a Greater Bay Area Innovation Tour, further reinforcing Macau and the broader Greater Bay Area’s ambitions to strengthen positioning as a regional innovation and startup hub.
Organisers said speakers from Greater China, the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America are expected to participate in discussions throughout the exhibition.
Since launching in 2021, BEYOND Expo has grown into one of Asia’s largest technology gatherings, attracting multinational corporations, Fortune 500 companies, startups, investors and innovation ecosystems from across the world.
This year’s edition comes amid intensifying global competition around AI, robotics, semiconductors and next-generation digital infrastructure, with Asian technology ecosystems increasingly seeking stronger global visibility and cross-border collaboration opportunities.
