Keppel Club to Feature Singapore’s First Immersive Digital Signage in New Collaboration

SINGAPORE, 24 January 2025 – Keppel Club is set to become Singapore’s first golf club to feature immersive digital signage, following a strategic partnership between DAS Universe Pte Ltd, the Singapore Golf Association (SGA), LG Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd (LG), and Keppel Club. The initiative will transform the club’s Golf Bag Drop-Off Point into a dynamic advertising space, marking a significant step in modernising Singapore’s golfing venues.

The centrepiece of the project is an advanced LED display screen, jointly sponsored by SGA and Lexus, which will showcase immersive visuals, advertisements, and promotional content. DAS Universe will lead the project’s management and digital content production, while LG will supply its latest display technology. The signage is expected to go live in early 2025, with plans for future installations across Singapore.

SGA General Manager Joshua Ho highlighted the project’s potential to enhance engagement, “SGA is pleased to be part of this initiative that brings immersive digital signage to golf clubs in Singapore. Keppel Club is the first to feature this, marking a significant step in improving the golfer experience.”

Keppel Club General Manager Desmond Chua said the project reflects the club’s commitment to modernisation,
“We are excited to be the first golf club in Singapore to introduce this innovative signage solution. This initiative underscores our dedication to maintaining a premium experience while embracing new technology.”

LG Electronics Singapore’s Managing Director Lee Kunho emphasised the cutting-edge display capabilities:
“This installation at Keppel Club is a testament to LG’s commitment to innovation in display technology. Our latest indoor LED signage delivers vibrant colours and dynamic content that captivate audiences and elevate any setting.”

DAS Universe Managing Director James Hong sees the project as a launchpad for wider adoption, “Introducing immersive digital signage to Keppel Club is an exciting milestone for us. With the anticipated success of this project, we plan to expand our DAS Universe Immersive Digital Signage (DIDS) model to other golf courses and leisure locations across Singapore and Southeast Asia.”

As digital transformation reshapes sports and leisure venues, this collaboration sets a precedent for golf clubs looking to blend technology, advertising, and immersive experiences into their environments.
