Azul Launches Managed Services Program to Help Partners Tackle Java Compliance and Security

New white-label offering empowers MSPs to deliver Java license, vulnerability, and code efficiency insights under their own brand

SINGAPORE, August 2, 2025 — Azul, the only company fully dedicated to Java, has unveiled a new Managed Services Provider (MSP) Program built on its Azul Intelligence Cloud platform, aimed at enabling partners to offer seamless Java advisory, license management, and security services under their own brand.

The new program equips MSPs with sublicensing and white-label rights to Azul’s SaaS-based tools — JVM Inventory, Azul Vulnerability Detection, and Code Inventory. These features help service providers offer continuous insights into their clients’ entire Java environments, spanning Oracle Java, Azul, and other OpenJDK distributions.

“Azul Intelligence Cloud lets us see every JVM our customers use — whether it’s Oracle, Azul, or any other OpenJDK distribution—and immediately understand compliance or security gaps,” said Evan Boyd, Managing Director at Software Licensing Consultants. “Embedding Intelligence Cloud into our managed service portfolio means we can deliver faster, more accurate license reconciliation and real-time compliance while removing the operational burden.”

Plug-and-Play Java Advisory for the Channel

The MSP program is tailor-made for partners that want to embed Java compliance and security analytics into their service offerings—without asking customers to deploy or operate new tools themselves. Partners provision a secure, customer-specific tenant of the Azul Intelligence Cloud, deploying lightweight agents and handling all telemetry, configuration, and reporting.

End customers, in turn, receive curated, actionable insights under the MSP’s own brand, with all services “Powered by Azul.” The managed approach provides a plug-and-play model for partners to support initiatives such as Java license compliance, code modernization, DevOps optimisation, and OpenJDK migration.

“Java estates continue to expand across a myriad of deployment environments, and the cost, time and resources required to get the right licensing and security insights can be enormous,” said Simon Taylor, Vice President of Global Channel and Alliances at Azul. “By giving partners full, managed access to Azul Intelligence Cloud, we’re equipping them to deliver turnkey services that mitigate license audit risks, surface vulnerabilities proactively and reclaim developer time.”

Key Capabilities for Partners

The Intelligence Cloud platform enables several partner-delivered use cases, including:

  • JVM Inventory: Continuously detects every active Java Virtual Machine, including Oracle distributions, to flag licensing issues and map JVMs to responsible teams and applications.
  • Vulnerability Detection: Uses production runtime data to eliminate up to 99% of false positives from security alerts, allowing security teams to focus on actual threats.
  • Code Inventory: Identifies unused or “dead” Java code, helping reduce code maintenance burdens and freeing up developer capacity—up to 40%—for more strategic work.

This suite of tools allows MSPs to deliver high-value services like real-time compliance monitoring, vulnerability triage, and codebase rationalisation—all without customers needing to manage new dashboards or internal analytics functions.

Driving Cost Savings and Compliance for Enterprise Java Users

With Oracle Java licensing becoming increasingly complex and audit risks rising, enterprise customers are seeking simplified, expert-led insights to reduce exposure and improve efficiency. Azul’s new MSP program allows channel partners to meet this demand with ready-made services that drive measurable impact—optimising costs, strengthening security posture, and enabling faster decision-making.

By turning production Java runtime data into clear business value, Azul and its partner ecosystem are redefining how organisations manage the risks and complexities of large-scale Java deployments.
