SINGAPORE, September 1, 2025 — Global property consultancy Knight Frank has named Dan Dixon as its new Head of Capital Markets, Asia-Pacific, underscoring the firm’s commitment to growing its regional presence and enhancing services for investors navigating increasingly complex cross-border markets.
Based in Singapore, Dixon will oversee Knight Frank’s capital markets activities across Asia-Pacific, linking regional capital with international investment opportunities and facilitating global capital flows into Asia. His appointment is effective from September 1.
Dixon brings a decade of experience from Knight Frank’s London capital markets team, where he advised sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, and institutional investors on high-value transactions including joint ventures, acquisitions, and capital raising mandates.
Craig Shute, CEO for Asia-Pacific at Knight Frank, said Dixon’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment.
“Dan takes on the role at a time of change and opportunity in Asia-Pacific capital markets. The region continues to attract significant international investor interest, while Asian sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors are actively seeking global diversification opportunities,” Shute said.
“Dan’s experience bridges these two key market trends, giving Knight Frank an edge in capturing opportunities from both directions of capital flow. His skill in structuring complex cross-border deals ensures our clients receive advice and execution shaped to their needs.”
Commenting on his new role, Dixon noted the acceleration of cross-border activity.
“With Asian investors expanding overseas and global capital flowing into Asia-Pacific, cross-border activity is gathering pace, opening new pathways for connectivity and growth,” he said. “Prime assets in key Asian gateway cities continue to offer attractive risk-adjusted returns, and Asian investors are becoming more sophisticated in diversifying globally. This is a timely moment in the cycle, full of opportunity and momentum for the market.”
Dixon’s appointment follows the recent strengthening of Knight Frank’s Australian capital markets team with the addition of Rob Sewell as Partner and National Head of Institutional Sales, and Michael Kwok as Partner and National Head of Capital Markets.
The move also aligns with Knight Frank’s global capital markets strategy, led by Nick Braybrook, Head of Global Capital Markets, who coordinates a network of more than 250 advisers worldwide to deliver collaborative, cross-border solutions for institutional clients.
With Dixon at the helm in Asia-Pacific, Knight Frank is positioning itself to better serve the needs of investors amid a shifting global investment cycle and growing demand for connectivity across capital markets.
