Ajay Biyani Elevated to Lead Securonix APJ Expansion

SINGAPORE, February 27, 2026 — Securonix has promoted Ajay Biyani to Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan, reinforcing the cybersecurity firm’s focus on scaling AI-powered security operations across one of the world’s fastest-growing digital markets.

In his expanded role, Biyani will lead regional strategy, go-to-market execution, partner ecosystem development and customer success initiatives across APJ. The appointment reflects Securonix’s long-term investment in the region as enterprises accelerate digital transformation amid rising cyber threats and tightening regulatory oversight.

Securonix, a six-time Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Security Information and Event Management, has been expanding adoption of its Unified Defense SIEM platform across financial services, telecommunications, government and other regulated sectors in the region.

Scott Sampson, Chief Revenue Officer at Securonix, said APJ remains a dynamic cybersecurity market. “Ajay has demonstrated consistent leadership, built strong regional partnerships and driven measurable growth. As we continue to scale our Unified Defense SIEM platform powered by agentic AI, his leadership will be instrumental in deepening customer trust and accelerating expansion across the region,” Sampson said.

Biyani said his focus will centre on strengthening the regional partner ecosystem and supporting customers’ transition toward AI-driven security operations. “Security leaders across APJ are under increasing pressure to deliver measurable resilience while navigating regulatory complexity and rapid digital growth. My focus will be on strengthening our partner ecosystem, supporting our customers’ transformation to AI-driven security operations, and ensuring organisations across the region become breach ready and board ready,” he said.

Asia Pacific remains a high-growth cybersecurity market as governments tighten compliance frameworks and enterprises increase investments in digital infrastructure, cloud migration and data governance.

By elevating Biyani to oversee the region, Securonix is signalling its intent to capture expanding demand for AI-enabled security platforms capable of delivering scalable, measurable outcomes.
