SINGAPORE, August 14, 2025 – AEM Holdings Ltd. (SGX: AWX), a global leader in semiconductor and electronics test innovation, has reported a 9.6% year-on-year revenue increase to S$190.3 million for the first half of 2025, in line with its upwardly revised guidance. Profit before tax surged to S$3.9 million, marking a 284% rise from the previous year, while operating cash flow climbed to S$46.4 million, up S$39.3 million year-on-year.
The growth was driven by the ramp-up into high-volume manufacturing for a major AI and high-performance computing (HPC) customer, alongside accelerated orders under a long-dated purchase order programme. A favourable product mix contributed to improved margins, with the Test Cell Solutions segment generating S$118.6 million in revenue, up 18.8% from 1H2024, bolstered by the deployment of the AMPS-BI solution powered by the PiXL™ thermal technology.
In contrast, Contract Manufacturing revenue dipped 4.7% to S$67.0 million, impacted by reduced demand from certain end customers amid global trade uncertainties.
Leadership Change
AEM’s Board has appointed Samer Kabbani as Chief Executive Officer, effective 28 July 2025. Kabbani, who joined the company in 2020 as President and CTO, has been instrumental in developing its next-generation test technology roadmap and expanding intellectual property assets, particularly in advanced active thermal control. His appointment is aimed at strengthening execution and customer diversification as AEM scales its innovations into high-volume production.
Non-Executive Chairman Loke Wai San said the company’s current focus is on scaling innovations under Kabbani’s leadership to reinforce AEM’s reputation with customers.
Outlook
For the second half of 2025, AEM expects revenue in the range of S$170 million to S$190 million, with growth in AMPS-BI shipments in Q4 partially offset by the timing of order pull-ins and potential currency fluctuations. The Group is also progressing with an evaluation final test handler order from a memory customer, which, if accepted, could move into production by late 2026.
Kabbani noted that AEM is entering a “phase of execution and expansion” as its technologies approach readiness for large-scale deployment, with close engagement to ensure solutions address customers’ most critical challenges.
