LAS VEGAS / TOKYO, December 30, 2025 — CES 2026 will see a significant and highly structured presence from Japan, with Japanese startups and technology companies preparing to showcase innovation, pitch to global investors and engage international media as part of an expanded national effort led by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
As one of Asia’s most prominent contributors to CES, Japan’s participation will centre on the Japan Pavilion at Eureka Park, the global event’s dedicated startup hub. Located at the Venetian Expo, Hall G, Booth 62801, the pavilion will host 31 Japanese startups, collectively presenting a snapshot of the country’s emerging technology landscape and its ambitions for global expansion.
Japan Pavilion to Anchor Startup Presence
The Japan Pavilion will act as a focal point for Japanese innovation throughout CES 2026, providing exhibiting startups with a shared platform to engage buyers, investors, partners and international media. The participating startups will span a wide range of sectors, including artificial intelligence, spatial computing (AR/VR/XR), health technology, entertainment, lifestyle solutions and advanced materials, reflecting both depth and diversity within Japan’s startup ecosystem.
JETRO has confirmed that four exhibitors from the Japan Pavilion have already been recognised as CES 2026 Innovation Award honourees, underscoring the global relevance and competitiveness of Japanese startup innovation. Three award recipients have been named — AMATELUS INC., SHOSABI inc. and UNTRACKED inc. — with an additional honouree to be announced during CES Unveiled on January 4.
Structured Pitching and Global Engagement
Beyond exhibition space, JETRO will introduce an intensive programme of thrice-daily pitch events at a dedicated stage within the Japan Pavilion. These sessions will be designed to maximise exposure and interaction, featuring formats such as Ask Me Anything, use-case demonstrations and global pitch battles, allowing founders to articulate their technologies and business models directly to international audiences.
A dedicated “Japan CES Innovation Award® Spotlight” session scheduled for January 7 will highlight award-winning startups, offering them additional visibility among investors, corporate partners and the global press.
Japanese startups will also extend their presence beyond the show floor, with JETRO supporting participation at multiple high-profile CES-week media and networking events. These include CES Unveiled, ShowStoppers, Launch.IT and themed showcases such as “Immersed in Japan: Showcasing Founders in XR and Entertainment”.
Such appearances are intended to strengthen media engagement, build brand recognition and accelerate global partnerships, positioning Japanese startups within broader international technology conversations taking place across Las Vegas during CES week.
Asia’s Innovation Footprint Expands in Vegas
Japan’s structured and multi-layered participation at CES 2026 highlights the country’s continued commitment to using CES as a launchpad for global growth. From curated exhibitions and pitch stages to award recognition and media-driven showcases, Japanese startups are set to play a prominent role in shaping Asia Tech in Vegas conversations this January.
CES 2026 will take place from January 6–9, 2026, in Las Vegas, bringing together global technology leaders, startups and investors. With Japan’s Pavilion once again anchoring Asian innovation at Eureka Park, Japanese companies and startups are poised to leave a strong imprint on the world’s most influential technology event.
