HONG KONG, December 21, 2025 — SUNeVision Holdings Ltd. (SEHK: 1686), Hong Kong’s largest data-centre provider and the technology arm of Sun Hung Kai Properties, has launched the third chapter of its Startup Programme, intensifying efforts to support high-potential local founders and reinforce the city’s innovation and technology ecosystem.
The latest cohort — now open for applications until 10 February 2026 — will select 10 startups specialising in Artificial Intelligence (AI), BioTech, FinTech, GreenTech, HealthTech, Smart City and other emerging technologies. The programme offers a combination of technical resources, market access and mentorship designed to help early and growth-stage companies scale solutions, unlock the potential of AI and sharpen competitive advantage.
Shortlisted startups will receive up to HK$160,000 in SUNeVision Credits, redeemable for services provided by SUNeVision and its programme partners. Founders will be able to build and scale AI-driven applications within SUNeVision’s hyperscale data-centre environment, benefiting from low-latency infrastructure and a network footprint engineered to support high-density compute workloads.
Participants will also gain entry to an ecosystem of more than 300 technology and business partners, service providers and enterprise stakeholders. Beyond infrastructure, the programme aims to help startups strengthen their presence in the Greater Bay Area and accelerate regional expansion across Asia-Pacific.
Partner support spans cloud, cybersecurity, co-working space and go-to-market tools, with contributions from Angelflow, Dataplugs, Finda Cloud, Nexusguard, Sustainable SmartTech Ventures, the Hive, Votee AI and WeExpand. SUNeVision will provide colocation and hosting services across its digital infrastructure portfolio.
The latest launch builds on the programme’s prior success. Last year’s cohort included promising innovators such as DeepTranslate—which leverages AI combined with human financial translation expertise. The startup utilised SUNeVision’s low-latency network to improve accuracy and accelerate turnaround times for its financial-sector customers. Sustainable SmartTech Ventures (SSV) deployed intelligent building-management applications at SUNeVision facilities, enhancing AI model performance for large-scale rendering—a capability that has enabled it to win new clients in the construction sector.
Helen Lo, Executive Director & Director, Commercial at SUNeVision, said the continued expansion of the Startup Programme speaks to the company’s focus on nurturing homegrown technology talent. “We aim to create an all-encompassing platform that empowers visionary innovators to thrive, providing the advanced infrastructure and supportive ecosystem they need to transform bold ideas into real-world impact. We remain committed to accelerating innovation and injecting vitality into Hong Kong’s technology ecosystem.”
The initiative is underpinned by SUNeVision’s core infrastructure capabilities. As Hong Kong’s largest data-centre provider, the company delivers carrier- and cloud-neutral facilities with what it describes as Asia’s leading connectivity, hosting telecom, cloud, internet, CDN, OTT and enterprise operators from Hong Kong, mainland China and global markets.
SUNeVision operates a MEGA Campus model—extending connectivity from its flagship MEGA-i site to other high-tier facilities including MEGA Gateway, MEGA IDC, MEGA Plus and MEGA Two. These are linked via dedicated dark fibre and around 15,000 cross-connects, enabling customers to reach multi-cloud platforms and exchanges. The company is also adding submarine cable landing stations HKIS-1 and HKIS-2, expected to support cable owners and carriers with direct connectivity into regional networks.
By integrating digital infrastructure, startup resources and partner-led support, SUNeVision positions the programme as both a commercial initiative and a contribution to Hong Kong’s ambition to reinforce its role as a regional information hub and gateway to mainland China.
