Tiger Analytics Partners Nanyang Poly to Develop AI-ready Talent, Accelerate Tech Adoption by Singapore SMEs

SINGAPORE, August 25, 2022Tiger Analytics, a leading provider of Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Advanced Analytics Consulting Services, will be collaborating with Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), Singapore to further industry-relevant AI education and research. This will broaden access to AI skills in Singapore. Together, the partners will drive the next generation of AI-ready talent and the acceleration of technology adoption by SMEs.

Sharing this information with AsiaBizToday, Mr Anupam Bhargava, Head of Asia Pacific, Tiger Analytics said that as a part of the new Diploma in Applied AI & Analytics at NYP, Tiger Analytics will co-develop the modules and Competency Units (CU) around data processing, AI modeling and applications, AI system design and development.

Tiger Analytics will also contribute to:

●            Reviewing the curriculum for each Competency Units

●            Providing resources for the teaching material

●            Reviewing and providing feedback on the content

●            Co-creation of real-world use cases with the relevant data for project work

In addition to this, as a key member of the C4AI, Tiger Analytics will work with NYP to accelerate the AI adoption for SMEs. While there are more partners involved in the program like Microsoft, Omron to name a few, Tiger Analytics is the only Data & Analytics company.

Mr Bhargava further informed that apart from providing AI-ready talent, the partnership with NYP will enable SME organisations to experiment, conceptualise, build, and deploy complex Artificial Intelligence (AI) use cases across various sectors. This in turn will enable and accelerate the adoption of AI by the industries in Singapore. Use cases like predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, computer vision etc have applicability across multiple sectors and through the NYP’s C4AI, the aim is to establish a foundational layer/ solution which can help accelerate the adoption and solution to these problems.
