3rd Icons of Healthcare Summit & Awards concludes in Singapore

Singapore Aug 2, 2018: The third edition of the annual Icons of Healthcare Summit & Awards was successfully hosted here on July 27. The pan-Asia forum focussed on “Connected Health & Disruptive Technology” and witnessed exchange of insights & views around technologies impacting healthcare, AI techniques for smarter living solutions, costs impacting aging healthcare management & service excellence in managing healthcare delivery.

Organised by Singapore-headquartered Business Excellence & Research Group Pte Ltd (BERG), the summit witnessed deliberations over some of the key aspects and opportunities for healthcare delivery across Asia. The event witnessed the presence of medical professionals, healthcare providers and MedTech experts from India, Nepal, Singapore, UAE & Malaysia.

RPA Software; Mr Nawal Roy, Founder & CEO, Holmusk; Mr Anthony Tian , Sales Director, Asia Pacific, Napier Healthcare; Mr Tan Boon Heon, COO, Caregiver Asia; Ms Adrienne Mendenhall, Director – BD, Access Healthcare International; Mr Julian Koo, CoFounder & CEO, Jaga-Me Pte Ltd   shared valuable insights & experiences during their presentations and at the two panel discussions – How will future technologies change the care industry & Beyond Healthcare to Successful Aging – Managing the next revolution.

The Awards shine the spotlight on some of the finest professionals & institutions whilst celebrating their successes. RAK Hospital, UAE was presented the Award for Leading Hospital for Medical Tourism, Ageless Medispa, KL Malaysia – Leading Integrated Health & Wellness Medical Centre; Cognifyx Pte ltd Singapore – Leading Medtech Startup; Sun Hospital Pvt Ltd, Cuttack India– Leading Hospital for Gynaecology & Obstetrics; Ojas Yoga & Wellness Singapore – Leading Centre for Yoga & Wellness and Total Health Chiropractic Pte Ltd Singapore – Leading Chiropractic Wellness Chain of Clinics.

Dr. V. P. Nair from Singapore was presented the Icons of Healthcare 2018 Award for Excellence in Cardiac Care followed by Dr. Yam Bahadur Roka from Nepal – Excellence in Neuro Surgery; Ms. Alice Prethima Michael from KL Malaysia – Excellence in Aesthetic & Wellness Medicine and Navdeep Vij Singh Singapore – Excellence in Disruptive Healthcare Technology. Dr. Timothy Low from Singapore was presented Leading Healthcare Management Professional, while the Award for Healthcare Woman Icon 2018 was presented to Dr. Manisha Karmarkar, Pune, India and the Award for Leadership in Promoting Malaysia as Medical Tourism Destination to Ms. Sherene Azli, KL, Malaysia.
