In case you hadn’t noticed, one of the UK’s top girl groups have been away for a while in America. That’s right: The Saturdays (Mollie King, Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White) have been trying to make their mark in LA and, while doing it, filming their very own fly-on-the-wall show. But think of it as less The Osbournes and more TOWIE/Made In Chelsea/S Club’s Miami 7 circa 1999.

A trailer has now been released for the show – called Chasing The Saturdays – giving us a sneak peek at what the girls have been getting up to while trying to crack the US. The show airs on channel E! in January and it looks set to be a blur of glamour, heels, long-distance love and the odd bit of singing.

Things we’ve learned from the 30-second clip:

Mollie likes to dance like an embarrassing dad on camera
The girls are “always there for each other” and enjoy group hugs
The Saturdays seem to be able to pull in huge audiences in the US – who knew?!
Rochelle and JLS hubby Marvin kept the love alive during their time apart with topless Skype sessions
The Saturdays are really into their having lots and lots and lots of fun. (Did they actually work out there?!)
Anyway, check out the clip and let us know whether you’ll be tuning in the new year (February) to see what the girls have to offer us telly-lovers and the American public. We know we will be!
